Visual Strategy

After 15 years working in housing and property, the time has come for me to focus fully on a career in commercial photography.

Photography has never been a side interest for me. Alongside my professional career, I’ve built a strong foundation in the craft — holding a Level 4 qualification in Photography, Licentiateship with the Royal Photographic Society, and previous experience in commercial photography.

What makes my offer different is the combination of both worlds.

Having worked across housing, property and the built environment, I understand the workflows, pressures and technical requirements behind development and project delivery from RIBA stages and BIM to building safety, documentation, handover and business development.

That means I don’t just create attractive images. I understand how imagery functions as part of business infrastructure.

I help property professionals create and manage visual assets that support:
📷 Project case studies and portfolio development
📷 Sales, marketing and website content
📷 Award submissions and press/editorial features
📷 Early-stage documentation and existing conditions
📷 Completion handover and project archives
📷 360 capture, walkthroughs and drone photography

Too often, businesses invest heavily in projects but treat imagery as an afterthought resulting in inconsistent photography, weak case studies, fragmented assets, and missed opportunities to maximise completed work.

A considered image strategy creates continuity from project inception through to completion, strengthening communication, client understanding, marketing, and long-term asset value.

If you work in housing, property, architecture or development and would like to discuss photography, visual documentation, or image strategy for your projects, feel free to get in touch.

I’m also open to collaborations, referrals, and conversations with practices or organisations looking to strengthen how they use imagery across the project lifecycle.
